What is an Adaptation?
An adaptation is something that would improve safe and independent living for individuals and their families. We can provide equipment such as grab rails and lever taps and/or larger items including stair lifts and level access showers.
What Adaptations do CBH offer?
Minor adaptations – Grab Rails, Lever taps, Electrical sockets, Door entry systems, Half steps Planned works – Stair lifts, Ramps, Adapted kitchens, Over bath shower, Level Access shower, Dropped kerbs

Occupational Therapist
All planned works must be supported by an Occupational Therapist’s assessment and will be subject to a home visit by the Adaptations Manager for suitability
Timescales
We aim to complete minor adaptations within 28 days. Planned adaptations will depend on the individual needs and timescales will be discussed with the tenant.
