Meet your Building Safety Caretaker Team
What do we do
We work to promote cleaner, greener and safer estates and communal areas. Below is a list of just some of what we do.
- Conduct quarterly Estate Inspections across the city’s 470 blocks of flats.
- Conduct various compliance inspections within General needs and Sheltered accommodations communal areas. These include Fireman’s drop switch, Fire doors & Emergency Lighting, to ensure they are working and keeping residents safe.
- Help to keep communal areas free of personal items to ensure speedy egress and exit for emergency services in an event of an emergency.
- Carry out minor repairs in communal areas.
- Promote recycling and report on fly tipping and refuse issues.
- Conduct Estate Tours.
- Monitor and report on the communal cleaning contractors.
- Work with our Quality Assurance Advisors (QAA’s) and monitor satisfaction surveys.
