Recipients of our final round of Community Fund are announced
Colchester Borough Homes (CBH) is excited to reveal the successful applicants of our Community Fund’s final round of funding.
Throughout the year, a total of £40,000 has been shared among local organisations and charities across the Borough, with a panel of tenants and leaseholders assessing applications against the agreed criteria.
The panel awarded funding to groups who submitted ideas which will deliver a positive impact to local residents and communities. Following a decision in November, the latest recipients of the funding are:
- Reaching out for Christmas
- Colchester Sea Cadets
- Christmas Tree from Neighbourhood Services
- Wivenhoe Congregational Church
- Age Concern
- Tots to Teens
- Boaz Virtual Christmas
- Little Explorers Pre-School
Colchester Borough Homes Chief Executive Gareth Mitchell said: “In what’s been a challenging year for many, I’m proud of the local support being offered by so many groups across the Borough. They have provided essential support to residents and communities throughout the pandemic and I’d like to thank them for all their hard work.
“Colchester Borough Homes will always ensure residents are at the heart of what we do and to be rooted in communities. This is why we remain committed to supporting our communities through the Community Fund.”
Further information of recipients from the previous two Community Fund rounds is available here.
