Colchester Borough Homes (CBH) is now accepting nominations for the Good Neighbour Awards 2026, celebrating individuals and groups who go the extra mile to support their community.

 

From helping with shopping and walking dogs to organising local events or simply being there when it counts – these awards are all about recognising the people who make a real difference.

 

Winners will receive £100 in vouchers and will be honoured at a special awards ceremony during the CBH Annual General Meeting later this year.

 

Philip Sullivan, Chief Executive of Colchester Borough Homes, said: “Every year, these awards remind us just how strong and caring our communities are. It’s the everyday acts of kindness – often unnoticed – that make such a lasting difference to people’s lives. The Good Neighbour Awards give us a chance to recognise and celebrate those individuals who go above and beyond to support others.
