Colchester Borough Homes (CBH) welcomed a range of contractors to Colchester Rugby Club on Friday for a dedicated partnership event focused on collaboration, shared learning and delivering the best possible services for customers.
The event brought together key partners from across CBH’s contractor network, creating an opportunity to discuss challenges, share ideas and strengthen working relationships. Discussions centred on how organisations can work more effectively together to enhance customer experiences and continue improving service delivery across local communities.
A highlight of the day was hearing from CBH tenants Nicola and Tony, who shared their personal experiences of living in social housing. Their honest and thought-provoking presentation highlighted the importance of challenging misconceptions and stigma surrounding social housing, while also providing valuable insight into the real impact that housing services can have on people’s lives.
Their contribution left a lasting impression on attendees and reinforced the importance of listening to customer voices when shaping services and making decisions.
