Colchester Borough Homes (CBH) has announced the successful applicants for the second round of its 2025 Community Initiative Fund.

 

The CBH Community Fund provides grants to local charities and community groups throughout the year, supporting projects that strengthen communities, tackle hardship, and improve wellbeing for Colchester residents. Awards are made at regular intervals following assessment by a panel of involved tenants.

 

Thirteen community groups will benefit from CBH’s Community Fund, which totals £18,739.75 for this round. The panel assessed applications, focusing on projects that provide meaningful support to Colchester residents during challenging times.

 

This year’s Community Fund recipients include Signpost Colchester, Homestart Colchester, and North Essex Support Team, among others. Each project demonstrates a commitment to fostering community spirit, alleviating hardship, and promoting well-being.
