Colchester Borough Homes (CBH) has announced the successful applicants for the second round of its 2024 Community Initiative Fund.

 

Fifteen community groups, including several charities supporting children, vulnerable individuals, and families, will benefit from CBH’s Community Fund, which totals £22,110 for this round. A five-person panel of involved customers assessed applications, focusing on projects that address the cost-of-living crisis and provide meaningful support to Colchester residents.

 

This year’s Community Fund recipients include Colchester Foodbank, The C3 Church and the Underdog Crew CIC. Each project demonstrates a commitment to fostering community spirit, alleviating hardship, and promoting well-being.

 

The CBH Community Fund provides grants to local charities and community groups throughout the year, with awards made at regular intervals.
