Funding available to benefit local organisations and community projectsApplications for the current funding round for this year are set to close on 13th March 2020.
Colchester Borough Homes is welcoming applications for this year’s first round of Community Fund.
The Colchester Borough Homes Community Fund makes grants and awards to local charities and community groups throughout the Borough of Colchester.
All monies awarded are considered by our Residents Panel to select the projects they feel would be most beneficial to their local community. Applications for this year’s first round of funding should be submitted by 13th March 2020.
Throughout each calendar year, the Community Fund helps distribute £40,000 of funding to local projects and organisations. The latest Community Fund recipients include Warm & Toasty Club, Monkwick Munch Club and Find Your Spark.
All applicants need to ensure CBH tenants and leaseholders can access the project you’d like to provide. CBH are able to help you connect with tenants and leaseholder should you require it. Please refer to the following maps to see where our tenants are focused.
Gareth Mitchell, Chief Executive of Colchester Borough Homes, said: “The Community Fund is a fantastic way for local charities and organisations to receive funding which helps to support projects that residents and communities really benefit from.
“I encourage any local group to apply for the fund. It’s always been hugely successful over the past years and has resulted in hugely popular initiatives across the borough.”
