Funding available for organisations and groups supporting communities during Covid-19

Colchester Borough Homes is accepting applications for the second round of the Community Fund. For this round of funding, we’re looking for organisations and groups who have initiatives in place to support communities impacted by the Covid-19 crisis.

The Colchester Borough Homes Community Fund awards grants to local charities and community groups throughout the Borough of Colchester.

All monies awarded are considered by our Residents Panel, who are meeting virtually, to select initiatives they believe are most beneficial to our communities during the Covid-19 outbreak. Applications must be able to demonstrate how the funding will help groups support communities during the challenges that Covid-19 presents.

Applications for the second round of funding should be submitted by 1st July 2020.

Gareth Mitchell, Chief Executive of Colchester Borough Homes, said: “Many Covid-19 support groups and initiatives have been established since start of the outbreak, and we’d like to show our support and gratitude by helping them continue their fantastic work in our communities.”
