Funding available for local groups who provide valuable support to residents across Colchester
Colchester Borough Homes (CBH) has launched the second round of its Community Initiative Fund for 2021 and encourages local groups who provide fantastic support to residents in Colchester to apply.
The Community Initiative Fund provides a total of £40,000 across three rounds of funding during the year and groups and charities in Colchester are encouraged to apply for a share of this. They must demonstrate how their services and projects can offer support to CBH’s tenants and leaseholders and also outline how they benefit the wider community.
In this year’s first round of funding, 11 local groups received funding for their incredible projects including Funnelwick Limb, Find Your Spark and Monkwick Munch Club.
Colchester Borough Homes Director of Operations, Karen Loweman said: “We had an amazing response to our first round of funding and are proud to have already provided support to eleven well-deserved local groups this year.”
Local groups offer a wide range of valuable support options to communities and individuals across Colchester and I encourage any local group or charity interested in the funding to apply.”
Along with the Community Initiative Fund, CBH actively supports and funds local organisations throughout the year. These partnerships provide tenants and leaseholders with the reassurance that support is always available for a variety of needs. Find out more here.
Applications for the second round of funding can be made by completing the below form or emailing email@example.com and should be submitted by 2 September 2021.
