First round of funding to support local groups now openApplications for this round of funding should be submitted by 16th May 2022
The CBH Community Fund supports the local community by making small grants and awards to local charities and community groups throughout the borough. Groups can apply for funding throughout the year and the awards take place at regular intervals.
The Community Fund provides a total of £40,000 across three rounds of funding during the year and groups and charities in Colchester are encouraged to apply for a share of this. Applicants must demonstrate how their services and projects can offer support to CBH’s tenants and leaseholders and outline how they benefit the wider community.
Last year’s funding, saw a total of forty-eight organisations and project benefit from the fund.
A list of successful recipients from last year’s funding is available here.
Colchester Borough Homes Chief Executive, Philip Sullivan, said: “The Community Fund offers local organisations and charities the chance to receive funding for the fantastic projects and services they provide, which deliver a real benefit to our communities.
“I encourage local groups to apply to the fund, which has always been hugely successful and enabled some extremely worthwhile work to be completed across Colchester.”
